From inception, La Loba was created with the archetypes, understanding, and acceptance of death in mind. The mandala of bones, dried flowers, and antlers placed upon a coffin-shaped structure is meant to enable the viewer to meditate upon death and dying.
La Loba is a sculpture created by Tigerlily Lin and Ben DeVoe with the help of myself, Seth Dr. Adventure Kane, and Carolyn Hochlowski. It was installed in JunXion NYC's Beyond the Veil Halloween event in a secluded section of the event space.
